As an Associate, Ben Jacobs is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, assisting on financings for new and existing portfolio companies and helping portfolio companies on M&A and strategic matters.

Prior to joining DCM, Ben was at Bain and Company where he worked with technology and private equity clients. He focused on management issues including e-commerce strategy and due diligence for acquisition targets in sectors such as hardware, communications, and online gaming. Previously, Ben spent time working at VC-backed data startup Rapleaf and completing research in Beijing during the 2008 Olympic Games.
